The Guven hydraulic clamshell excavator grab runs straight off the hydraulics of a material handler or excavator, so the operator opens and closes the two shells from the cab. It is built for digging and bulk work where a machine, rather than a crane, does the handling: loading and unloading, trench and basin work, and dredging support along quays.

This is a new unit from Guven Grab & Machine, a Turkish manufacturer active since 1984 with more than 10,000 grabs delivered to over 120 countries and type approval from BV, RINA, Class NK, LR, ABS and CCS. Capacity runs from 1.5 m³ to 20 m³, matched to the carrier machine.
