Guven Hydraulic Excavator Orange Peel Grab
The Guven hydraulic excavator orange peel grab, also called a spider grab, is an open multi-tine grab that runs on the hydraulics of a material handler or excavator. The tines close with high force and grip awkward, heavy and sharp material, which makes it a tool for scrap, demolition and rock work rather than free-flowing bulk. A rotator can be fitted so the operator turns the grab to line up each load.
This is a new unit from Guven Grab & Machine, a Turkish manufacturer active since 1984 with more than 10,000 grabs delivered to over 120 countries and type approval from BV, RINA, Class NK, LR, ABS and CCS. It is built in a range of sizes to match the carrier machine.
Suitable materials
Scrap, HBI and HMS, pig iron, wood, biomass, waste, rocks, riprap and armour rock. Tine count and shape are built to suit the material and the carrier.
Why a spider grab
