Guven Mechanical Clamshell Touch-Down Grab

The Guven mechanical clamshell touch-down grab is built for cranes that have only a single hook line and no separate grabbing winch. When the grab is lowered onto the material it touches down and resets, then closes as the crane lifts. This lets a standard hook crane handle bulk without any motor, hydraulics or extra winch, which makes it a simple and affordable option for occasional or single-line handling.

This is a new unit from Guven Grab & Machine, a Turkish manufacturer active since 1984 with over 10,000 grabs delivered to more than 120 countries and type approval from BV, RINA, Class NK, LR, ABS and CCS. Capacity runs from 2 m³ to 50 m³ and can be tuned with kick plates to the cargo.
