Guven Mechanical Orange Peel Touch-Down Grab

The Guven mechanical orange peel touch-down grab combines an open multi-tine body with a single-line touch-down action. It is made for cranes that have only one hook line and no grabbing winch: the grab resets when it lands on the material, then closes around coarse and irregular loads as the crane lifts. That lets a standard hook crane handle scrap and bulky material without any motor or hydraulics.

This is a new unit from Guven Grab & Machine, a Turkish manufacturer active since 1984 with over 10,000 grabs delivered to more than 120 countries and type approval from BV, RINA, Class NK, LR, ABS and CCS. Capacity runs from 3 m³ to 40 m³, with tine count and shape built to suit the material.
